From September 4, 2022, to the 7th, the Doctor Naoufel Ouerchefani participated in the World Congress of Functional Neurosurgery, in Séoul. He took the event’s opportunity to address the issue of the impact of transmagnetic stimulation on memory disorders, in relation to Alzheimer’s disease.
He presented his work and research which consisted in applying a relatively strong magnetic field near several areas of the brain, in order to better the patients’ memory. Although the efficiency of these new treatments are for patients suffering of Alzheimer’s disease is still being debated in the scientific community, that work has been able to narrow its benefits for the patients more precisely.
