Your hospitalization

Post-operative hospitalization lasts for two nights.

Surgery takes place under general anesthesia in the operating room, and lasts approximately one hour.

Neurosurgeon make a small incision at the neck level in order to insert a small spring-shaped electrodes next to the left vagal nerve, as the right one can cause cardiac arrythmia.

A neurostimulator is implanted under the left collar bone, in a subcutaneous pocket.

Electrodes are tunneled subcutaneously with the neurostimulator with electric wires.
