Cancerous pain
Out of the 385,000 patients that are newly diagnosed with cancer every year, more than half of them suffer over the course of their illness. 75% of patients in terminal phase describe continuous pain, of which 30% assessing a severe pain.
In such a context, oncological pain management is a priority for all caregivers, using several therapeutic resources. Administering help intrathecally may be considered, when conventional ways do not allow sufficient analgesia.
